A little background

I recently left a job that put me under such stress that I'm pretty sure I was a week away from the hospital. I went back on an antidepressant I had taken in the past, but it wired me, made it difficult to sleep, and had the added bonus of contributing to my anxiety. So my doctor asked me to try Trazodone which is commonly used to treat anxiety, panic disorder, insomnia, etc. I was really hesitant but agreed to try it. She prescribed the smallest dosage which I then bite in half and take immediately before bed.

I had read that vivid dreams were a common side effect and was curious to see if I would experience this, especially after a few years of trusting a more, ahem, herbal sleep aid which interferes with your dreaming. Within the first week I was having..interesting.. dreams, but moreso I noticed they were more vivid, and I could remember them in great, wacky detail.

The dreams are usually funny, sometimes stressful, but always wacky. I made this blog to document my silly trazodreams. Hope you enjoy.
